I am driven by a passion to make technology safe, inclusive, and empowering for everyone. My expertise lies in evangelizing trauma-informed, inclusive, participatory, and contextual research methods, ensuring that diverse voices are heard, respected and protected throughout the product development process.

 

I'm particularly passionate about applying these principles in the critical areas of Healthcare, Trust & Safety and Responsible AI. By understanding and anticipating potential harms, research can help build products that prioritize user well-being and foster a sense of trust.

My proven track record speaks to my ability to lead high-impact research initiatives, translate insights into actionable strategies, champion human-centered design principles and operationalize unified frameworks for collecting, analyzing, prioritizing and measuring the impact of insights. I'm committed to driving innovation that not only pushes technological boundaries, is valuable for both businesses and end users but also upholds ethical standards and promotes universal accessibility.

My research philosophy centers on 4 core principles:

  1. Value-Driven Impact: I prioritize research that directly addresses challenges that drive market penetration, adoption, retention, innovation, and revenue growth, I ensure that my work delivers tangible and meaningful results.

  2. Adaptable Methodologies: While I maintain a rigorous approach to research, I tailor my interpretive frameworks to the context and scale of each project. I am always on the lookout for transformative avenues of inquiry that can truly elevate user experience. This adaptability allows me to generate insights that are both relevant and actionable

I am committed to open communication and honest reporting throughout the research process. This approach not only enhances the quality of my work but also empowers stakeholders to make informed decisions based on reliable data.

  4. Ethical Research: UX Research should be respectful of the resources and trust participants and collaborators give our work. UX Research should respect the norms associated with research using human subjects and mitigate potential ethical pitfalls including unjustified research with vulnerable populations, misleading Users/Deception, mishandling inadvertent sensitive topics/extreme experiences, false expectations, information gap, information misuse or confirmation bias.
